Robin Koch, Rasmus Kristensen and Can Uzun were victorious in the UEFA Nations League.

The first FIFA international period of 2025 is in full swing, with matches taking place all over the globe. After Eintracht youngster Noah Fenyö got things started on Wednesday evening with Hungary U19s, playing the duration of a 3-1 defeat to Austria, five Eagles followed suit on Thursday.

Wins for Kristensen and Koch

Frankfurt’s Danish dynamo Rasmus Kristensen enjoyed a successful evening at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium. In the quarter-finals in League A of the UEFA Nations League, his team claimed a 1-0 win in the first leg against Portugal.

Germany and Robin Koch also take a one-goal advantage into their quarter-final second leg after beating Italy 2-1. The Eintracht defender didn’t feature at the San Siro in Milan.

Promotion and relegation between Leagues A and B was at stake for Turkey and Belgium, meanwhile. Can Uzun was an 85th-minute substitute as the Crescent-Stars won 3-1 in the home leg against Hungary, but Belgium went down to a 3-1 defeat in Ukraine. Michy Batshuayi was an unused substitute, while Arthur Theate watched the match from Frankfurt as he continues his recovery from his recent muscle problems.

U21 teams in friendly action

With three months to go until the European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia, the Danish U21 side are in friendly mode. The Scandinavians were involved in a thrilling 3-3 draw against their peers from Poland, although Oscar Højlund did not feature.
