The 2-0 win over Udinese secured Inter's place in the Coppa Italia Quarter Finals. Inzaghi's side will therefore face Baroni's Lazio side at San Siro in February, in the second window of Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Quarter Finals (25-26 February 2025). It will also be a straight game, meaning that it will head to penalties if the score is level after 90 minutes. Lazio beat Napoli 3-1 at the Olimpico in the Last 16.

Bologna and AC Milan have already qualified for the semi-finals of the competition, beating Atalanta and Roma respectively. The winner of the quarter-final between Inter and Lazio will face the Rossoneri in the next round.
