We're certainly spoiled for choice in this regard with the quality of mouthwatering match-ups on display, but given we've already had Benfica-Barcelona this season and Bayern Munich-Bayer Leverkusen can be guaranteed at least twice a year, the nod goes to Liverpool's trip to Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool - the Premier League champions elect - have a chance to wrap up their first silverware of the season in the EFL Cup final in two weeks and also won seven of their 10 Champions League first phase fixtures (only losing once when they had already done the hard work).

But PSG promise to pose them plenty of problems. The French outfit are currently on a 22-game unbeaten run, scoring a staggering 40 goals in their last 10 matches, which included a 10-0 aggregate win over Brest in the playoff round - the second highest margin of victory in a Champions League knockout tie.

Even in terms of individual talents, there are hardly two more in-form players in world football right now than wingers Mohamed Salah and Ousmane Dembélé.

Just sit back and enjoy.

🔎 Team to Watch

Despite only losing one Bundesliga fixture all season, Bayer Leverkusen's tendency for draws leaves them eight points behind Bayern Munich, who look set to wrestle the title back from Xabi Alonso's men.

But that does not mean all is lost for Die Werkself, who have a chance to take some pre-emptive revenge if they can send the league leaders packing from Europe and march on in their bid to reach a first Champions League final since 2002.

The sides did meet in league action two-and-a-half weeks ago and it was undoubtedly Leverkusen who had the best of it in a scoreless draw, conceding zero shots on target and being very unfortunate at the other end not to score.

In fact, that was part of Alonso's impressive unbeaten record against Bayern as a coach: winning three and drawing three of his six meetings with the Bavarians and keeping a clean sheet in three of Leverkusen's last four, making them a serious force to be reckoned with in this game and beyond.

🔥 Player to Watch

Under Hansi Flick, Robert Lewandowski has made some impressive and somewhat unheralded Champions League history.

Across Bayern Munich and Barcelona, the striker has played in 24 fixtures in this competition under the German tactician and found the net 21 times.

Of all players to make 20+ appearances under one coach in the competition, Lewandowski's goals per minute ratio of 74 is the best of any player-coach combination.

Two of those goals came in the thrilling 5-4 win in Lisbon in January. Will he repeat the feat again?

👀 Potential upset

Feyenoord already claimed the scalp of one Milan giant in the last round of the competition, and they look to add Inter to their impressive (and growing) list of victims this season.

Impressive performances against AC Milan both in Rotterdam and at San Siro saw the Dutch side set up a return to the Italian city under new coach Robin van Persie, as he aims to mastermind a shock triumph against the Nerazzurri.

As if recent form hasn't given them reason for confidence, history is also on the side of an upset, with Feyenoord losing just one of their last 12 home meetings with Italian sides (winning seven and drawing four).

They also have the highest conversion rate of any team in the competition this season, scoring from 68% of the big chances they have created as they look to become just the fourth club ever to beat both Milan clubs in the same Champions League campaign.

📊 Fascinating stat

Liverpool haven't won on any of their last five away trips to France in competitive action and last tasted victory in September 2008 against Marseille.
