AC Milan Femminile managed to overturn a perilous situation on Saturday afternoon, to win 3-1 against the reigning champions AS Roma at the PUMA House of Football.

After three draws in a row against Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter last time out, Milan were in need of something different against Roma, and they did just that. However, it did not start as had hoped.

Just four minutes into the game the Rossonere fell behind after Viens found the net following a deflection. Certainly not the hope that the Diavolo were hoping for, and for the next 15 minutes, things did not really improve.

However, 28 minutes in, the Femminile were able to draw themselves level after a few decent chances. Once again, the penalty box saw the ball ricochet around, but Ijeh managed to get the ball and beat Kresche in the opposition goal.

The rest of the half was not filled with action, and barring a late penalty call the half ended relatively drama-free. Much like the final 15 of the first half, the opening period of the second half gave little away until Dompig fired home a chance to the near post to give the Rossonere the lead.

Then, in the dying embers of the game, Arrigoni put Milan two goals to the good from 25 metres out with a beautiful shot into the top left corner, earning the applause of the House of Football, rightly so.
