Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé etched his name into the history books of the club by way of his latest exploits.
Mbappé, of course, is fresh off another scintillating individual performance.
Amid a vastly-improved recent stretch of form, the Frenchman was in from the off once more, in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Real Valladolid.
And, en route to an eventual 3-0 Blancos triumph, Mbappé proved himself the undisputed star of the show.
Looking close to unstoppable in the final third, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital rattled off all three goals for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
And as much, as alluded to above, has since given rise to a head-turning statistic.
Mbappé’s hat-trick came as the 4th fastest in Real Madrid’s La Liga history, with the 26-year-old having now taken to the pitch for Los Merengues on 19 occasions in Spain’s top-flight.
The record-holder for fewest games needed to find the net three times remains Ruud van Nistelrooy, who remarkably managed as much in just his 2nd Blancos appearance.
Gareth Bale is next (9 games), followed by Emmanuel Adebayor (14), with Mbappé having levelled Ronaldo Nazário in 4th.
