Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz is attracting interest from Al-Nassr as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to The Times.

Diaz played a key role as Liverpool won the Premier League title under manager Arne Slot. The former Porto forward registered 13 goals and seven assists across all competitions.

The 28-year-old, who operated from the left wing and centrally as a striker, was one of the Reds’ most reliable attacking outlets.

With two years left on his current contract, Liverpool are yet to open talks over an extension, which has alerted several suitors across Europe and beyond.

Barcelona are long-term admirers of Diaz and continue to track him, although they are also eyeing Manchester United star Marcus Rashford as a possible alternative.

The interest from the Saudi Pro League appears to be intensifying, with Al-Nassr eyeing Diaz as a marquee target if Ronaldo leaves this summer.

Despite efforts to convince the former Real Madrid and Manchester United talisman to extend his stay, there are strong indications he could join Al-Hilal for their Club World Cup campaign.

Al-Hilal have also been linked with another Liverpool forward, Darwin Nunez.

His future at Anfield remains uncertain after a poor campaign in which he slipped down the pecking order under Slot.

If a formal offer arrives from Al-Nassr, Liverpool may face a difficult decision as SPL clubs continue their push for top-class players.

Liverpool reportedly already have a potential replacement for Diaz on their radar. They are keeping tabs on Lyon star Malick Fofana, who caught the eye with a breakout season in France.

Fofana bagged 11 goals and six assists in 41 appearances this season and is primed for an explosion.

It is unclear if Liverpool will pull the trigger for the 20-year-old French attacker, but he is a target.
