The future of Kristjan Asllani at Inter Milan hangs in the balance this summer, with the Nerazzurri hoping for at least €30 million to sell him.

This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Albanian doesn’t want to leave, but that the right offer could change things.

Kristjan Asllani is now coming towards the end of his third season at Inter Milan.

Inter signed the Albanian in the summer of 2022 from Empoli.

Asllani initially arrived at the Nerazzurri to be the backup for Marcelo Brozovic.

However, Hakan Calhanoglu then emerged as an able replacement for Brozovic. Therefore, Asllani has instead found himself as the deputy for Calhanoglu.

That means that Asllani has struggled for playing time frequently. He is not in the first-choice starting eleven at Inter, and Calhanoglu has proven a hard player to drop.

Nevertheless, there have been positive signs, as Asllani has slowly won the trust of Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi.

Moreover, Asllani himself is determined to stay at Inter and make an impression. Not just as a backup option, but as the eventual heir to Calhanoglu.

For now, Kristjan Asllani has no intention of going anywhere. And Inter, for their part, are not going to push the 23-year-old to the exit door.

But at the same time, Asllani is certainly not untouchable for the Nerazzurri.

Everything will depend on offers that could potentially arrive.

Inter would expect to cash in if they do sell Asllani, reports FCIN.

The Nerazzurri’s asking price for the former Empoli midfielder would be in the region of €30 million.

However, it is not as though there is no transfer interest in Asllani. Both from within Serie A, and abroad.
