Alejandro Garnacho might no longer be at Manchester United next season following the most recent developments, and his agents could land him a new club in the Premier League itself.
Following his outburst after the Europa League final defeat, Ruben Amorim decided enough is enough and reportedly told the Argentine to find a new club in the summer in front of the rest of the squad.
The Portuguese tactician and the Carrington graduate have had quite a few run-ins in the second half of the campaign, and Amorim seems to have decided now is the time to cut him loose.
INEOS won’t mind due to the prospect of earning pure profit from the Argentine’s sale due to his homegrown status.
In January, the 20-year-old was linked with a move to Napoli and Chelsea with the Serie A giants failing with an official bid. They are expected to return in the summer, as will the Blues.
Interestingly, The Peoples Person had relayed that Alejandro Garnacho had instructed his agents to try and gauge Real Madrid’s interest in him.
Should Los Blancos stay away, Defensa Central have revealed that the Argentina international will ask his agent to speak to United’s arch rivals Liverpool, and Arsenal while Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid will also be approached.
“Real Madrid would be the first club to receive a call from Alejandro Garnacho’s representatives, who are said to be fed up with Manchester United.
“Should that approach fail, the Argentine number 17 would offer himself to elite clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, or Atlético Madrid in search of an immediate exit from Old Trafford.”
It would be quite the shock to see the ex-Atletico Madrid academy ace leave Old Trafford for Anfield or the Emirates. INEOS would ideally prefer not to strengthen a direct rival.
But with Amorim having already made his decision, the co-owners might be forced to sell to the highest bidder. Saudi Arabian clubs are also monitoring proceedings but it is unlikely the United No 17 would move out of Europe at this stage of his career.
Despite a disastrous season for the Red Devils, Garnacho enjoyed a productive personal campaign even though his finishing let the United head coach down many times.
