Alejandro Garnacho's agents spotted at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea prepare new Man Utd approach | OneFootball

The agents of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho were in attendance on Monday to watch Chelsea beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are known to be interested in a deal for Garnacho, who could be available this summer after losing his place in the team under new head coach Ruben Amorim, but they face significant competition from Napoli.

Speculation of a transfer to Chelsea appeared to grow online on Monday evening and it was later revealed that Garnacho's representatives, Carlos Cambeiro and Quique de Lucas, were both in the crowd as Chelsea fired their way back up to fourth in the Premier League standings.

The Daily Mail state Chelsea are expected to make a fresh approach for Garnacho, who is thought to be available for a fee of around £65m.

Such a figure has so far proven problematic for Napoli, who are looking to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after his £59.1m move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, but a new bid from the Serie A side is also expected to arrive imminently.

Fabrizio Romano adds that Chelsea began making enquiries back in December after Mykhailo Mudryk failed a drugs test, and a swap deal was teased by the Blues. There are not thought to have been any developments on that front at this stage.

At United, those in charge are not actively looking to sell Garnacho but now recognise the need to listen to offers for any player, with the winger's status as an academy signing - £420,000 from Atletico Madrid in 2020 - offering the chance for immense profit.
