Allegri Snubs Roma, Former Chelsea Boss in the Running | OneFootball

In the meantime, their search continues. Despite the chatter, Claudio Ranieri and Daniele De Rossi haven’t been contacted directly. Roberto Mancini is an option, but he has reservations not entirely related to the situation. Frank Lampard is emerging as a strong candidate, but he’d demand a long-term contract.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the former Italy and Saudi Arabia manager is open to taking over. However, he’d rather wait until January for fiscal reasons. Roma might not have that much time, as their season might be completely down the drain at that point.
