Arsenal teenager Myles Lewis-Skelly is in line for a maiden England call-up ahead of March’s international fixtures.

Thomas Tuchel is closely monitoring the performances of the 18-year-old ahead of announcing his first squad as England manager. The Three Lions begin their FIFA 2026 World Cup qualification campaign against Albania and Latvia next month.

There’s an increasing chance that Lewis-Skelly will be involved in the camp. The left-back has broken into the Arsenal side this season and has made 20 appearances in all competitions. Lewis-Skelly scored his first senior goal for the Gunners during an impressive performance in last weekend’s 5-1 win over Manchester City.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Thomas Tuchel and his coaching staff are keeping a close eye on his development, with left-back having been a problem position for England. Luke Shaw’s injury issues and Ben Chilwell’s lack of football have left England without recognised senior options.

Newcastle’s Lewis Hall made his senior debut during the autumn internationals and Lewis-Skelly could be the next emerging name to be handed a chance. The Hale End graduate has represented England up to u-19 level.
