Fichajes has reported that Arsenal are interested in Rodrygo from Real Madrid and are set to make a move for the Brazilian in the upcoming summer transfer window. It is no secret that the Gunners have been looking for attackers due to the underperformance of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. They are also facing injury issues with their attackers.

Rodrygo has been one of the best players for Los Blancos right from the time he joined the club. He has also been a big match player, stepping up on UCL nights and carrying Real Madrid over the finishing line.

Rodrygo Goes is a joy to watch on the pitch. The Brazilian winger’s got this effortless flair—quick feet, silky dribbling, and a knack for leaving defenders grasping at air. He’s not just flash, though; his vision is sharp, picking out passes that carve open defenses.

Pace is his weapon—he explodes down the wing like a rocket, always a threat on the counter. His finishing’s coming along too, calm and clinical when it counts. Still young, 24-year-old, he’s got that raw, unpredictable energy, but you can see the maturity growing.

Should Real Madrid let the player leave?

Rodrygo has scored 6 goals in 21 matches so far in the La Liga 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.38. Moreover, Rodrygo’s total G/A (goals + assists) is 11 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.7 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.38. Therefore, he will be a very good player for Arsenal with his performances in big matches.

The La Liga side won’t be interested in selling the player. They know his importance and standout performances for the team. Moreover, he is only 24, and Madrid won’t really be getting ready to lose such an important young player from their side who is performing at their highest level. So, Arsenal will definitely not find it easy to lure the Brazilian. It remains to be seen what happens finally in the transfer window as things could change in transfer windows as we have seen earlier.
