After selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG during the winter transfer window, Napoli are now eyeing a high-profile replacement. The Serie A club is reportedly targeting Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho as they look to fill the void left by the Georgian winger.

Kvaratskhelia made a major impact during his time in Italy, tallying 30 goals and 29 assists in 107 appearances. Replacing that kind of production won’t be easy, but Napoli believe Garnacho has the quality and upside to step in.

According to Fichajes, the Argentine’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain, and Napoli have already submitted an €80 million bid to try and lure him to Italy.

With Kvaratskhelia gone and Victor Osimhen also rumored to be on the move, Napoli appear to be entering a transitional phase. Garnacho’s energy, pace, and attacking spark could make him a key figure in the club’s next chapter.

CaughtOffside reports, citing sources, that Aston Villa are among the clubs showing interest in Alejandro Garnacho this summer. The winger is also wanted by his former manager Erik ten Hag, who recently took over at Bayer Leverkusen after being sacked by Manchester United in October last year.

Ten Hag is already facing the possibility of losing star midfielder Florian Wirtz, and he is understood to view Garnacho as a potential replacement. Leverkusen are targeting the Argentine international on a loan deal, but Manchester United reportedly prefer a permanent transfer.

In addition to interest from Aston Villa and Leverkusen, Garnacho’s representatives have also been approached by AC Milan, according to CaughtOffside. Other Serie A clubs, including Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma, are also said to be monitoring the situation.

Recently, the i Paper reported that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is expected to meet with Manchester United to discuss a potential move for Garnacho.
