Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly eyeing Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as a potential addition to bolster their attack, focusing on long-term squad reinforcement.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that while PSG remain interested in Durán, they face a significant obstacle in Aston Villa’s £80 million valuation. The hefty price tag reflects the Colombian forward’s standout performances and a recent contract extension.
Aston Villa appear determined to keep him unless they receive an exceptional offer. PSG, however, reportedly value Durán at around £55 million, leaving a notable gap in negotiations. Other clubs are also monitoring the talented striker.
Jacobs further revealed in a separate report that Aston Villa recently turned down a £57 million bid from West Ham, their second offer this window. The Premier League club is said to only consider offers close to £85 million (€100 million).

Adding to the speculation, Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reported on Friday that Real Madrid are also showing interest in Durán and could enter the race for the Colombian. However, despite attention from European giants like PSG and Real Madrid, Durán is reportedly contemplating a move to Al-Nassr.
In a related report, Aouna claims PSG nearly reached an agreement with Durán’s representatives and made a verbal offer of €75 million, which Aston Villa rejected.
