Atalanta director Tony D’Amico warns interested parties in Ademola Lookman, Ederson, Charles De Ketelaere and more that they fully intend to ‘maintain the full squad’ in January.
Their trip to Lazio kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 19.45 GMT.
La Dea spent Christmas as the sole Serie A leaders, although Inter are now level after beating Cagliari 3-0 and have a game in hand.
“There is no extra pressure, we continue as always to take it one game at a time and focus only on ourselves,” D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.
This is the final game of 2024, where Atalanta won the Europa League, as well as playing the Coppa Italia Final with Juventus and the European Super Cup against Real Madrid.
“It is the end of a wonderful and exciting 2024 for us, with two Finals and one trophy. I reiterate, this is an important game, but we always face them the same way, trying to achieve the best we can. This 2024 has been unforgettable,” added D’Amico.
“Lazio are a very good team who invested well on the transfer market, they are doing well this season and are a quality opponent.”

The January transfer window opens later this week and Atalanta have several stars targeted by Premier League giants, including Ederson, De Ketelaere and 2024 African Player of the Year Lookman.
However, D’Amico assures that the Bergamo side – one of the few in Italy to run at a profit on a regular basis – has no intention of selling.
“Certainly, the January transfer window is a difficult one for all clubs. If there are any opportunities, we will go for them, but obviously maintaining the full squad that we currently have at our disposal.”
Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with midfielder Ederson, while Liverpool also eyed up Lookman.
Arsenal are keeping a close eye on De Ketelaere too.
