A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid has made his way onto the transfer radar of Turkish outfit Besiktas.
That’s according to Fanatik, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Alexander Sørloth as the player in question.
Frontman Sørloth for his part only made the move to Spain’s capital last summer, from fellow La Liga outfit Villarreal.
And the 29-year-old has since gone on to enjoy a solid start to life in Atlético colours, boasting a record of ten goals and two assists in 27 appearances.
The fact remains, though, that Sørloth is not a guaranteed start under Diego Simeone.
And eager to take advantage of this situation, as alluded to above, are Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s Besiktas.
On the lookout for reinforcements up top for the 2nd half of the campaign, ex-Manchester United boss Solskjær has identified fellow Norwegian Sørloth as the ideal addition.
Besiktas are keen on an initial six-month loan, albeit with Atlético Madrid considered as unlikely to sanction any such deal.
