In recent hours, a lot of importance has been given to the current physical condition of a certain Barcelona star. That particular player would be Lamine Yamal, who clearly suffered from discomfort in the recent international break. However, things got so bad that the youngster had to eventually return to Barcelona earlier than expected.

As a result, the alarm bells began to ring in Catalonia over the condition of the €150 million-rated winger. Initial updates suggested that the player merely had an overload and no injury for either club or country to worry about, but Barcelona were looking to take no chances with the player.

Consequently, he returned to the club as soon as possible and medical tests took place. Fortunately, the results aligned with the initial reports and it turns out that the player has an overload in his hamstring and his recovery will dictate his return.

However, a lot of reports have been suggesting that the player could miss the game against Sevilla due to this discomfort. That would be a huge blow for Barcelona, considering just how crucial each match is for them in La Liga right now given how little the gap is between first and second place.

Fortunately for La Blaugrana, another credible source now claims that the reality of the matter is different to previous suggestions. As per Helena Condis, Barcelona are still counting on Lamine Yamal to feature against Sevilla and then also participate against both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Furthermore, the journalist confirms that the 17-year-old does not have any injury and it is simply a muscle strain that he is currently having an issue with. Thankfully, that should not take long for the player to recover from and he should be available for Hansi Flick right after the international break.

Alongside him, the likes of Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Dani Olmo are also expected to return at around the same time. As it stands, the game against Sevilla could be a major boost for Barcelona in itself due to the return of several key players all at once ahead of a crucial set of games.

Right afterwards, however, La Blaugrana are expected to take on Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League and then Real Madrid in La Liga. Thus, having all these key players available in time for those games will be essential to determining just how strong Hansi Flick’s Barcelona can look before taking on those huge challenges up ahead.
