This season has been a peculiar one for Barcelona in the goalkeeping department. WIth Marc-André ter Stegen’s injury, Hansi Flick has relied on Wojciech Szczesny and Iñaki Peña to fill in.

This dilemma has led to Barcelona keeping an eye on the transfer market for a potential long-term solution to their goalkeeping woes.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have had their eyes on Porto goalie Diogo Costa, however a move won’t be simple as they face competition from Man City for the Portuguese stopper.

Ederson’s time as Man City’s number one is surely coming towards an end, and the signing of Costa could go a long way as an investment for the future.

But Hansi Flick will be keen on signing the 25-year-old too, and with Ter Stegen now at 32, his time at Barcelona is coming to an end as well.
