Bournemouth owner Bill Foley has said the club will not ‘stand in the way’ of transfers for the club’s in-demand talent.

The Cherries are expected to field offers for several stars during what is set to be a busy summer at the Vitality Stadium.

Dean Huijsen is attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs, with Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United all having made contact. The Spanish centre-back has a release clause of £50m in his contract, though Foley has said the Cherries will not play hardball with players who do not possess such clauses.

Milos Kerkez is also a target for Liverpool, Manchester City and Serie A teams, while several sides are weighing up an approach for Antoine Semenyo. Foley has revealed that ‘most’ of the Bournemouth squad do not have release clauses but the club do not plan to stand in the way of potential deals – if their valuation is met.

He said he wants to create an environment that attracts good players and, hopefully, one where they do not want to leave.

“We have a lot of our players under long-term contracts and most do not have a release clause,” Foley told talkSPORT. “We never stand in the way of a player in the event they have an opportunity they feel is a better opportunity, but we’re trying to make sure we have a team and an environment that attracts good young players.

“My job is to really make sure we have an environment that attracts good players and create a situation where those players want to stay and don’t want to move on.”
