Andrea Cambiaso will join up with the rest of the Italy national team squad as usual despite reporting for medical tests with Juventus on Monday following his enforced substitution during the Old Lady’s 3-0 loss against Fiorentina on Sunday.
Cambiaso was forced off in the 86th minute of Juventus’s deflating 3-0 loss against Fiorentina on Sunday with what appeared to be a problem with his ankle.
He had only been introduced in the 59th minute as a replacement for Nico Gonzalez, but his evening lasted just over 25 minutes before he was replaced by Samuel Mbangula.

Cambiaso was seen arriving at JMedical for further testing on Monday, but according to reports from multiple outlets, the tests have not uncovered any major causes for concern, which means that Cambiaso is still able to join up with the Italy national team squad ahead of the Nations League quarter-finals against Germany coming up over the next week.
Cambiaso is expected to earn game time during the international break as he is one of the only natural right wing-backs in Luciano Spalletti’s squad. The Azzurri also have Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Matteo Politano at heir disposal, but Raoul Bellanova was not called up for the March international break.
