Carlo Ancelotti & assistant Davide in disagreement on Arda Güler’s Real Madrid role | OneFootball

There is disagreement within the coaching setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid when it comes to the role of youngster Arda Güler in the club’s XI.

That’s according to Radio Marca, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

Güler, for his part, is in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss start to the new campaign in Spain’s capital.

Whilst the Turk has been afforded an altogether more prominent role than that of his debut season in La Liga, he has still been afforded starts in just three of Real Madrid’s fixtures across all competitions.

As much has long given rise to unrest amongst sections of the Blancos fanbase, adamant that Güler is deserving of a more consistent chance to showcase his talents.

And this is a stance which is seemingly shared by Real assistant manager Davide Ancelotti.

As per a report Radio Marca:

‘Davide Ancelotti wants Güler to be a regular starter.’

Father and Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti, however, is yet to be convinced of the 19-year-old’s deservingness of as much.

Güler, as a result, still has work to do in his pursuit of a place in the starting XI in Madrid moving forward.
