The current season has not been easy for Carlo Ancelotti by any means, especially with repeated injuries plaguing the squad and the lack of any form of stability over the availability of players.
Despite all the hurdles in his path, however, the Italian coach has managed to largely keep Real Madrid alive in all competitions. While they did not win the Spanish Super Cup, they are still fighting for La Liga, the UCL and the Spanish Cup.
The coming month will be crucial for Los Blancos as they can seal their place in the Cup final, advance to the quarterfinal of the UCL and potentially fight their way back in La Liga. A big part will depend on Ancelotti’s tactics and man management.
Speaking to the media in a recent interview, the Real Madrid manager gave his thoughts on racism in football and elaborated on how it was not just his player Vinicius Jr. who faced the wrath.
“Vinicius suffers from many attacks, but he is not the only one. It also happened with Nico Williams. We need to take many steps forward.

“The fact that they are good players could be an excuse to attack them more, but that should not happen,” he added on players being targeted for their race.
Ancelotti then went on to speak about Luka Modric and how the Croatian continues to win hearts with his performances despite his age.
“This Real Madrid generation was built with Sergio Ramos, Cristiano, Benzema, Kroos, Marcelo… Modric stayed, he continues to train every day as if it were his last.”
Ancelotti also gave his view on the growth of Nico Paz who left Real Madrid for regular minutes in Como and thus clarified that he maintains tabs on such young academy players.
“Nico Paz is performing very well.”
Finally, Ancelotti was asked about how he saw his future panning out, especially with continual links of a managerial change at the club at the end of this season.
“The future? I will not decide when my adventure with Real Madrid will end. That is clear to me. The president is the one who will decide, and it will happen sooner or later.”
“My son David? He’ll be a good coach,” he added, backing his son’s future to be bright.
