Celtic provide Friday night season ticket update | OneFootball

Celtic have provided an update to the thousands of supporters on the Season Ticket Waiting List. The renewal window for 2025/26 ended on Friday at 5pm and the announced following on from this makes for positive news for those patiently waiting to get a season ticket.

In a statement on Friday evening, Celtic confirmed that the Ticket Office would be in touch with successful supporters in the coming days.

“Following the closure of the Season Ticket renewal window today, supporters on the waiting list are reminded that no further action is required.

“Should you become eligible for a Season Ticket offer, the Ticket Office will contact you using the contact details you have provided to the Club.

“There is no need to contact the Ticket Office – they will get in touch if you are successful in receiving a ticket offer.

“Thank you for registering your interest in a Season Ticket; we appreciate your patience and continued support for the club.”

There has previously been an estimated 18,000 supporters on the waiting list. However, given this figure, it is incredibly unlikely that many will be successful as the renewal rate has been astonishing in recent years.

The waiting list has always been a source of contention for Celtic supporters. The club have been encouraged to use the demand to redevelop the main stand in order to provide more seats at Paradise. The club have also been encouraged to consider a ticketing exchange, which would allow supporters on the waiting list to purchase tickets from the club that became available on Matchday.
