Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge for this Saturday’s Premier League lunchtime match.
The Blues have the opportunity to break into the top four with Nottingham Forest in FA Cup action.
On Thursday, Chelsea travel to Sweden to face Djurgarden in the Europa Conference League semi-final. With that tie in mind, Enzo Maresca may choose to rotate his starting eleven this afternoon.
Romeo Lavia could be handed his first start since January following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Malo Gusto has been ruled out with a muscle injury, although the issue is expected to resolve itself quickly. Wesley Fofana and Marc Guiu are the only other senior absentees.
David Moyes’ Everton will be looking to bounce back following their 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
Captain James Tarkowski prematurely exited the Goodison Park pitch last weekend with a hamstring injury. The problem has also prematurely ended his season as it requires an operation.
Orel Mangala and Napoli loanee Jesper Lindstrom are also unable to feature again in this campaign. However, Moyes provided a positive update on Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is closing in on a full recovery from a hamstring problem. Fellow striker Armando Broja is ineligible to play against his parent club.

It was derby day delight for Enzo Maresca and his players as they staged a late comeback away to Fulham.
Academy product Tyrique George cancelled out Alex Iwobi’s opener with six minutes remaining before Pedro Neto scored a stunning winner deep into stoppage time.
It was a crucial victory for the Blues, as a defeat would have left them five points adrift of Champions League qualification.
This week could prove to be defining for Chelsea’s season. They continue to balance battling for a top-five spot with their ambitions of lifting the Europa Conference League. With Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Aston Villa all not in action this weekend, the west Londoners need to capitalise and gain some ground on their rivals.

Everton shipped two late goals last Saturday to lose 2-0 to Manchester City. Nico O’Reilly penetrated the Toffees resistance before Mateo Kovacic sealed the victory in the dying embers.
With Manchester United and Tottenham losing last weekend, David Moyes’s side remained in 13th position. However, they could slip as low as 17th place by the end of this week’s fixtures.
Regardless of their result, Everton’s weekend could have another sore moment. Cross-town rivals Liverpool can seal the Premier League title on Sunday.
The visitors dominated the first period but Toffees stopper Jordan Pickford was equal to everything thrown in his direction.
Nicolas Jackson directed an effort straight at the goalkeeper from a few yards out after being teed up by Cole Palmer. The Senegalese striker was then denied by the post from close range before Pickford smothered Malo Gusto’s subsequent rebound.
Sean Dyche’s outfit still had openings of their own. Orel Mangala’s fierce drive from distance troubled Robert Sanchez and needed to be palmed away. After the interval, Everton posed much more of a threat. Inventive work from Iliman Ndiaye found Jack Harrison in space only for Sanchez to spread himself smartly to block the shot.
In the closing stages, a heroic block from Tosin Adarabioyo kept the scores level. Jesper Lindstrom burst down the right flank and crossed low into the middle. The ball broke to Ndiaye who attempted to smash a finish past a sea of bodies, but it was instantly met by the defender’s outstretched leg.
Neither side could fashion a clear-cut chance to snatch a late winner and the game ended goalless. A point in Merseyside meant Chelsea missed the chance to climb to the top of the Premier League table.
