Guadalajara knew that the only valid result tonight at the Akron Stadium was a win and they did just that by defeating Puebla by the minimum difference on Tuesday night, in the penultimate match of the Clausura 2025, a result that keeps them firmly in the fight for the last ticket to the Play In phase by reaching 20 points and placing them in tenth position at the moment.

From the start of the match, the team's proposal was to go for the game against a rival that came out with a low block as a tactic. After a couple of dangerous approaches, Erick Gutiérrez made the Rojiblanca fortress explode with the winning goal. Without much resistance from the visitors, Gerardo Espinoza's team brought the match to a successful conclusion, thus tightening the competition for the Final Phase.

The Rebaño Sagrado's chances will be at the Estadio Jalisco on the last day of the competition, where the Rojiblanca will play the Clasico Tapatio against their fierce city rivals on Saturday, April 19, to the cheers of all the Chivahermanos who will paint the Coloso de la Calzada Independencia de Rojiblanco in red and white.

The goal

- Long-range shot and in! At 36', 'Guti' took it in the half-moon, controlled it and without hesitation fired a shot that beat González to open the scoreboard.

Dangerous

- At 18', Guadalajara built from a throw-in, where Teun Wilke held the ball inside the area for Alan Pulido, who attempted a volley, but it went just wide.- At 34', 'Piojo' Alvarado almost made a surprise with a set piece, looking for González's near post, but unfortunately his shot went over the crossbar.- At 45+3', Pulido passed to Wilke inside the area, Teun settled and looked for the far post with his left foot, but slipped and couldn't direct his shot.- Handball by the 'Dragon'! At 69', a long-range shot by Moyano looked for the goal with power, but García's glove sent the ball to the corner.- Yael came close! At 72' he let his right foot go all the way to the ball looking for the base of the goalpost, taking paint off the metal.
