The story about the AC Milan and Inter ultras deepens further this afternoon, as 24 members of the Curva Nord and Sud have been given bans, and more could be revealed about the situation shortly.
In the past few days, several things have come to light about the ultras from both Milan clubs, but it seems like this could just be the beginning as the anti-mafia commission have become involved with the case after acquiring key files, according to Calciomercato.com.
It is believed that the documentation could arrive with the commission shortly, and hearings could take place in the next few days. However, this is not the only action that has taken place this afternoon.
As well as the further involvement of the anti-mafia commission, Bruno Megale, the Chief of Police in Milan, has handed out the first set of DASPOs – an order which bans individuals from stadiums, if not entire areas to reduce the possibility of trouble.
The report suggests that 24 members of both the Curva Sud and Nord combined have been given the orders, and more are expected to come it seems, with ‘dozens of others’ to follow in ‘a relatively short amount of time’. Action is certainly being taken quickly.
