Corinthians Star’s Agent Confirms: ‘Contacts With Inter Milan, Napoli & Atalanta’ – Adds ‘Similar Style To Vlahovic At Juventus’ | OneFootball

The agent of Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto has confirmed contacts with Serie A sides Inter Milan, Napoli, and Atalanta.

The 23-year-old’s agent Andre Cury spoke to Italian outlet FCInterNews. He also stated that Alberto has a similar style of play to Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

In 2024 the 23-year-old scored a total of 31 goals for the Brazilian club in 57 appearances.

Meanwhile, Alberto was the top scorer for last season’s Brazilian top flight campaign.

Inevitably, Alberto’s form in the last twelve months has started to attract transfer interest.

Recent reports have indicated that Inter Milan are in talks to sound out the possibility of signing Alberto.

Reports have suggested that a fee for Yuri Alberto could end up being around €25 million.

FCIN spoke to Alberto’s agent, Andre Cury.

The agent gave the view that Alberto is “a special footballer.”

“Last season he scored 31 goals. He’s a Brazilian international.”

“It’s normal that we’ve been in talks with a number of clubs in Europe,” Cury said of Alberto.

And as far as a prospective transfer to Inter, the agent said “Absolutely, he can play in Italy.”

And as far as the reported €25 million valuation, Cury said “More or less.”

“He’s a great player, and he’s born in 2001,” the agent gave a reason for that fee. “Now we’ll wait and see what the market says.”

“Yesterday I returned to Brazil. Next month I’ll be back in Europe.”

And as far as the talks with clubs in Serie A, Alberto’s agent said “There have been contacts with Inter, Napoli, and Atalanta, but right now nothing official.”

Meanwhile, as far as a playing style comparison for Alberto, Cury named “Vlahovic of Juventus.”
