Dear Juventus,

Today is not a day like any other.

It’s a special day, one that brings a milestone that marks my love for you 200 times over;

That marks my pride for you 200 times over;

And, as you well know, this heart of mine was beating for you before we ever met.

Ever since that little girl closed her bedroom door and hung up a poster of Alessandro Del Piero.

Every time I looked up at that shirt, at that No.10 that lit up my little world, I felt inside me that there was something magic about you.

I imagined what it would be like to wear such a symbolic shirt without knowing that one day I would be lucky enough to do that, and to have you feel like you are mine.

And that 200 is not just a number.

It is the proof of a love born between TV pictures, within the walls of that little bedroom, and it now lives on the pitch with me under the weight and honour of your shirt.

I could never have imagined that story would become part of my life, and that magic would accompany me today.
