England international Marcus Rashford is ‘very unlikely’ to move to Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window, which puts the ball in Milan’s court in negotiations with Manchester United.
According to updates from Sky Sport DE’s transfer expert Patrick Berger, it is ‘very unlikely’ that Rashford will move to Dortmund this window due to the expected cost of the operation, which factors in loan fees and a hefty salary.

BVB coach Nuri Sahin noted that his side are currently “well prepared” in terms of their personnel and added that: “We will only do something if it makes us better.”

Milan, however, continue to negotiate with the Red Devils according to the latest updates. Members of the player’s entourage have been in the city of Milan over the last 24 hours to discuss the possibility of a move to San Siro.
The Rossoneri are reportedly hoping to secure a loan deal for the 27-year-old England attacker, but would require Manchester United to continue covering a portion of his salary.
