The Football Association have been alerted to the impressive form of former Arsenal striker Mika Biereth at AS Monaco, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners sold the 22-year-old forward to Sturm Graz for £4 million last summer after an initial loan spell, and he moved to Ligue 1 during the January transfer window.
Biereth has bagged ten goals and an assist in seven league appearances since moving to Monaco, and the Three Lions are eyeing him as he is yet to play for any national team at senior level.
The Denmark youth international did not make his first-team debut for Arsenal before leaving, but he has since notched three hat-tricks in France.
Biereth joined the Gunners from Fulham in July 2021, signing his first professional contract with them.
He had loan spells at RKC Waalwijk and Motherwell before joining Sturm Graz in a temporary deal in January 2024. He scored 23 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Biereth is also eligible to play for Germany and Bosnia & Herzegovina, but England will be hoping they can secure his services.
Arsenal are without Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka at the moment, and they must be wishing they still had Biereth in their ranks.
They had no problem strolling to a 7-1 victory against PSV Eindhoven in the first-leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday night.
However, their lack of attacking options has proven costly in the Premier League title race, as they have picked up just one point in their last two games.
