Luca Marchegiani believes Andrea Cambiaso is ‘the only player’ Juventus should not sell in January, although a huge Manchester City bid would be difficult to reject.

The Italy international has emerged as a top transfer target for Manchester City and Juventus have reportedly set an €80m price tag on the versatile full-back.

“I am the first to say that every player has a price, so any huge bid should not be rejected,” Marchegiani told Sky Sport Italia.

“However, Cambiaso is the only player Juventus should not sell right now. He’s Italian, promising, versatile, and suits Thiago Motta’s playing style better than the others. He would be a considerable loss.”

Paolo Di Canio agreed with the former Lazio keeper but argued that an €80m offer would be impossible to reject for Juventus.

“If they really offer €80m, you can fix some things and sign players who can develop under this new coach,” said the ex-striker.

“Obviously, the Juventus environment is demanding, and you need quick results.”

The Sky Sport Italia pundit also spoke about Alejandro Garnacho and Kyle Walker’s possible move to Serie A this month, saying that the Manchester United winger would not be an immediate starter under Antonio Conte at Napoli.

Juventus and Napoli meet at the Stadio Maradona in a crucial Serie A game on Saturday. Before the next Serie A game, Juventus will play away at Club Brugge in the Champions League Round 7 on Tuesday.
