Turkish side Fenerbahce are serious about pursuing Roma defender Mario Hermoso.

In fact, Hermoso’s time in Italy could already be coming to an end.

The Spanish defender, who arrived on a free transfer last summer from Atletico Madrid, has not fully convinced in his adventure in the capital.

Despite having been considered one of the main signings of Florent Ghisolfi, the expectations of the 29-year-old player have not been met.

The player himself seems intent on leaving Roma, eager to return to La Liga. Among the interested teams, José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are the ones who have made the most concrete moves at the moment.

However, according to some rumours, Hermoso does not appear convinced to accept the Turkish club’s proposal, despite Mourinho considering him an absolute priority for the winter transfer market.

As reported by market expert Emrek Konur, Fenerbahce would be willing to make a significant financial offer in order to satisfy the Portuguese coach’s demands. Roma, who acquired Hermoso for free, could record a significant capital gain from his sale, useful for strengthening the team in other areas of the field.
