There has been a massive claim made by one sports pundit who used to be a Sky Sports presenter regarding Liverpool’s world class star.

This comes off the back of Chelsea finally getting back to winning ways this week by beating Southampton at home on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues won that game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.

Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!

A claim has now been made that Chelsea could genuinely sign Mo Salah from Liverpool!

Absolutely wild claim

Salah’s contract at Liverpool runs out in the summer and his future is up in the air.

If he does leave Liverpool, it will be fascinating to see where he ends up. According to pundit Richard Keys, it could well be a sensational return to Chelsea.

Speaking to Andy Gray and former Liverpool player Jason McAteer on beIN SPORTS, Keys posed the question of whether Salah could actually stay in England.

“Could you see him playing for anybody else in England?” queried the presenter.

“No, he wouldn’t want to do that,” answered McAteer. “Liverpool have no say in it, so they can’t orchestrate what goes on. But Salah, he won’t want to spoil his legacy.”

“Coming up for 33, would you really want to tarnish your legacy to go and play somewhere else for a year, maybe two,” agreed Gray.

But Keys wasn’t having it, arguing that if Chelsea come up with a better contract offer than Liverpool for Salah, then he would be well within his rights to take it.

“If I’m leaving Liverpool and they haven’t done much to make their desire known to keep me, and I’ve got an offer on the table of 450 grand a week from Chelsea, then yeah I’m going to go and play for Chelsea,” he insisted.

I think Keys needs to do his homework. Chelsea of new do not make signings like this anymore and they have a much restricted wage structure. So this would never happen.
