Fulham join Galatasaray in queue for Milan defender Emerson Royal | OneFootball

Premier League side Fulham are the latest club to be linked with a move to sign former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal from Milan in January, joining Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray in the race to land the Brazilian’s signature.

Fulham and Galatasaray both interested in Emerson Royal from Milan

According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, two teams in Fulham and Galatasaray are currently exploring options to sign Emerson in the January transfer window.

Though he only joined the Rossoneri from Tottenham in the summer, Milan are prepared to cut ties with the Brazilian already given that they are also in line to complete a deal for Manchester City’s Kyle Walker, while Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi also remain on the club’s books.

Calabria’s contract runs until the end of the current season, so it remains to be seen whether Milan are looking to sell Emerson permanently or send him out on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.

The 26-year-old has made 25 appearances across Serie A, the Champions League, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana since joining Milan in the summer.
