AC Milan pulled off a dramatic second-half comeback against Inter last night, winning 3-2 and lifting the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia.

When Mehdi Taremi rolled in a shot to make it 2-0 Milan fans could be forgiven for thinking the final had taken a familiar turn, and yet the Rossoneri roared back in stunning fashion.

Theo Hernandez scored with a free-kick to halve the deficit, Christian Pulisic equalised with a lovely angled finish and Tammy Abraham won it in the dying moments.

Today’s front pages

Rather predictably, Milan’s derby Super Cup triumph dominates the Italian papers this morning and is largely front page news, with the headlines below:
