Gasperini to be unveiled by Roma on Monday | OneFootball

Gian Piero Gasperini is ready to be named Roma’s new head coach.

The 67-year-old manager has agreed to join the Giallorossi after spending the last nine years at Atalanta.

The capital club reached an agreement with Gasperini on the basis of a 3-year contract until 2025 worth around 5 million euros.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gasperini’s official presentation should take place on Monday together with the Friedkins, who remained in Italy also to closely monitor the new stadium issue.

In his first period at Trigoria, Gasperini will be supported by Ranieri, who will show him the sports facility and help him organize the first training sessions and summer friendlies.

Before that, however, the coach will have to resolve his contract with Atalanta and hold a farewell press conference in Bergamo.
