Roma director of sport Florent Ghisolfi said they are ‘working on’ a new coach to follow Claudio Ranieri, while goalkeeper Mile Svilar ‘wants to stay’ with a new contract.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT, 18.00 CET).
The Giallorossi have been well and truly transformed by Ranieri, as when he took over as their third coach of the campaign in November, they were hovering just above the relegation zone.
Now they are battling to break into the top four and ready to host Fiorentina, using the same starting XI that beat Inter last week.

As always, the first questions for the director of sport were about the choice for who will be Ranieri’s heir after his retirement in the summer.
“I am not here to confirm or deny any names, all I can say to our fans is that this is an important decision. We are working on it. We want to build something, an organisation with humility and passion,” Ghisolfi told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have clear ideas, the coach and club owners are 100 per cent aligned. It will all be announced at the right moment.”
Is it a name that hasn’t been mentioned yet in the media?
“As I said, I don’t want to name names. We are working on the future, but now must focus on the present, as this is a vibrant and exciting match.”

Ghisolfi was also asked about the contract negotiations with goalkeeper Svilar, who has attracted interest from the Premier League.
“We are in no rush, because the contract runs to 2027. We’re talking, he wants to stay at Roma and we want to build the future with him. He deserves a new contract, while we also want to build with financial consistency, so we are negotiating.”
