Apparently, Batshuayi didn't even undergo the usual medical tests. Instead, according to Sky Germany, there was merely an exchange between the two clubs' doctors.

According to Kicker, Eintracht had been monitoring Batshuayi for some time, but didn't want to match Galatasaray's initial asking price of €8 million.

However, after Galatasaray signed veteran Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from AC Milan, the pressure to get rid of Batshuayi increased - and Eintracht took advantage, ultimately paying €3.5 million including bonuses for the striker.

According to Kicker, Batshuayi will forgo up to €7 million in wages as a result of the move. He was reportedly earning €4.5 million a year in Istanbul.
