Ahead of the crucial game between AC Milan and Dinamo Zagreb this evening, Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke to the media and refused to share any concrete updates on the transfer market.

Milan have been heavily linked with Santiago Gimenez in recent days, but the negotiations are complicated due to Feyenoord’s high demands. With over €20m at stake in today’s game, in prize money that is, many have suggested that the pursuit of the striker is linked to the result.

When interviewed by Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Ibrahimovic insisted that their potential signing of Gimenez doesn’t depend just on tonight’s game. He also made it clear that the transfer market in general is difficult, giving very little away.

Today’s game is indeed worth a lot of money, no matter what Ibrahimovic says, as a win would see them secure at least around €23m. It could be even more depending on their final position in the standings.
