Inter and Milan among first clubs to call Mastantuono as release clause revealed | OneFootball

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Serie A giants Milan and Inter were among the first clubs to contact River Plate talent Franco Mastantuono, but Manchester City and PSG are now leading the race for the Argentine.

Milan and Inter were among the first clubs to establish contact with Mastantuono’s entourage and River Plate last year, but many other top European clubs have now joined the race for the promising 17-year-old.

The Milanese sides have scouted the Argentine several times, but his impressive displays in the first part of the season in Argentina have attracted interest from other European giants.

Mastantuono release clause revealed amid Inter and Milan calls

Mastantuono has already scored three goals and provided two assists in nine games across all competitions this season.

According to Gazzetta, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and PSG have recently shown interest in the exciting attacking midfielder.

The Italian newspaper reports that sources close to the Argentine club say that Man City and PSG are now leading the race for the 17-year-old.

According to the report, Mastantuono’s contract with River Plate includes a $46m clause, circa €40m, and no club has yet reached an agreement with his entourage.

Mastantuono’s contract with River Plate expires on December 31, 2026.
