Tuesday’s reports claim that Inter have lodged an enquiry with Genoa regarding the availability of former Juventus defender Koni De Winter in the summer transfer window, following reported interest from a host of different Premier League sides.
According to reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have made an initial enquiry with Genoa in an attempt to understand where things stand regarding De Winter and a potential move in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old joined Genoa in the summer of 2023, initially on a loan with a conditional obligation to buy, which was activated when the Grifone avoided relegation at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

That meant that Juventu received a fee of €8m, paid over four instalments, plus up to €2m in bonuses through his permanent sale.
Since leaving Juventus on loan in 2023, De Winter has gone on to make 48 appearances in Serie A over the last two seasons, 51 in all competitions, and has also earned his first caps for the senior Belgium national team: His first coming in a friendly against the Republic of Ireland in March 2024.

According to Tuesday’s reports, there are also a number of unspecified Premier League sides keen on pursuing a deal for the Genoa defender, as well as Inter.
While Gianluca Di Marzio does not name any teams specifically, reports elsewhere over the last few weeks give some indications as to which Premier League sides could be interested in a deal.
Football Insider claims that Everton are interested in a deal for De Winter for a fee in the region of £20m-£25m (€23m-€29.5m).
Caught Offisde, meanwhile, suggest that both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in De Winter, and quote a price tag in the region of €30m-€35m.
Football League World, meanwhile, reported in February that newly-promoted Leeds United, as well as West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also among the interested parties.
