Inter bounced back from last Sunday’s Serie A loss to Juventus. They had also dropped points against the likes of AC Milan and Fiorentina in February.

Therefore, three points were absolutely precious to get back on track.

Moreover, Inter needed to steady the ship in preparation for a huge sequence of fixtures.

The next ten days could be decisive for Inter in three separate competitions.

In the Coppa Italia, the Nerazzurri take on Lazio in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Then, next weekend Inter take on Napoli in what could be a Serie A title-decider.

Finally, the following week, Inter face Feyenoord in the first leg of a Champions League round of sixteen tie.

This is could to be a gruelling sequence for the Nerazzurri. And at the end of it they could have a much clearer idea of their fate in fighting for silverware on several fronts.
