Inter Milan Hope Coaching Upheavals At AC Milan & Juventus Will See History Repeat Itself In Champions League Glory

Inter Milan will be looking back through the history books and hoping that the poor form of their rivals AC Milan and Juventus bode well this season.
Nerazzurri fans will no doubt have enjoyed the turbulence at Milan which has seen coach Paulo Fonseca dismissed and replaced by fellow Portuguese tactician Sergio Conceicao, as well as the increasingly likely sacking of former Inter midfielder Thiago Motta at Juventus.
As highlighted by FCInter1908.it, the only other time that Milan and Juventus have both sacked a coach mid-season was in 1963/64, and it proved to be a memorable campaign for the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, whilst their rivals were in disarray, Inter went on to lift the European Cup with a magnificent 3-1 win over Real Madrid in Vienna under Helenio Herrera, with a brace from Sandro Mazzola and a Aurelio Milani goal.
With a Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich to come next month, Inter will be hoping that it bodes well for their chances this season.
On the domestic stage, Inter suffered heartbreak after finishing in joint-first with Bologna and competing in the only scudetto play-off in history, losing 2-0 to the Rossoblu.
