The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Ipswich Town vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves with this 2-1 victory over Ipswich have surely desired their Premier League status and condemned their opponents to relegation. The visitors managed to overturn the 1-0 deficit at half time with two second-half goals to win all three points. This has stretched the gap between Wolves and the relegation zone to 12 points with just seven games remaining. Ipswich started brightly as they knew they needed a win, and they were rewarded for their efforts as Delap made it 1-0 in the 16th minute. The striker poked the ball home after O’Shea managed to direct his header across the penalty area into the six-yard box for Delap to give the hosts the lead. Following this goal, Wolves were sparked into action, and they started to find some joy in the game. Their best chance of the first half, though, came through a moment where Palmer lost concentration, as a back pass slipped under his boot, but he got back to palm it off the line, giving away an indirect free kick, but importantly not a goal. After the interval Wolves dominated proceedings as they looked a completely different side. Ipswich were living dangerously, inviting pressure, and while Wolves could not punish them initially, the pressure eventually told as substitute Sarabia equalised in the 72nd minute. The Spaniard took possession of the ball on the edge of the penalty area after his initial pass was blocked; he then fired the ball into the bottom corner with a fantastic finish that made it 1-1, giving Palmer no chance. In the 84th minute he would turn provider as Larsen made it 2-1. Sarabia played a pass across the penalty area on the volley into the six-yard box for the striker to tap it home, a superb assist. It was a deserved victory for Wolves, as they earned their Premier League safety as they controlled the ball with 56.4% of possession and created the better chances, as they had an xG of 2.72 from 22 efforts, with seven of those being on target compared to Ipswich’s xG of 1.1 from their six shots, with only two on target. Both teams will be in action next Sunday as Ipswich travel to Chelsea, while Wolves host Tottenham Hotspur.
