The Scout’s report for Gameweek 22 in Fantasy Premier League is in ahead of City’s trip to Ipswich.
Pep Guardiola’s side visit Portman Road on Sunday 19 January, with kick-off scheduled for 16:30 (UK).
It represents our second meeting with the Tractor Boys this season following our 4-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium in August’s reverse fixture.
On that occasion, Erling Haaland’s hat-trick and Kevin De Bruyne’s strike helped us come from a goal down to collect three points after Sammie Szmodics had given the hosts an early lead.
And we’ll have to be at our very best to produce a similar result in Suffolk this weekend against an Ipswich side who are battling valiantly to preserve their top-flight status.
Ahead of the latest round of Premier League fixtures, our FPL Scout has provided fresh tips and tricks to potentially maximise managers’ points return ahead of Saturday 18 January’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.
Erling Haaland (£14.8m) looks a good investment for Gameweek 22 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
The forward is City’s top scoring FPL asset this season with 125 points.
He has returned in two of the last three gameweeks and has scored 16 goals this season. This makes him the highest points scoring forward in the league.
Haaland has registered 85 goal attempts, 33 more than any other forward. 78 of those have come from inside the box and 29 have been big chances.
He has also created 18 chances for his teammates. The Norwegian has also had 13 attempts from set-pieces, nine from headers. His penalty responsibility gives him a further route to points.
Liam Delap (£5.6m) has been opponents Ipswich’s star this season. He has produced eight goals and two assists to date.
Elsewhere, Anthony Elanga (£5.2m) is a low-owned gem with good potential in Gameweek 22.
Nottingham Forest's man has returned in all of the last six gameweeks, acuminating 45 points in this time.
