Bristol City Women have brought back defender Jess Simpson on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.

She had made a similar move at the start of last season, before a serious injury ended the spell early.
City Head Coach Steve Kirby told bcfc.co.uk: “We know the quality Jess has and how disappointing her injury was last season.
“It is great she is able to come back to Bristol City and show the Championship the quality she has. We know she will learn a lot from us, and she is desperate to get back playing.”
