Juventus director Francesco Calvo has comprehensively denied rumours that he could be heading to Inter Milan.

The Bianconeri director addressed the rumours briefly speaking to an FCInterNews reporter. He said that there is “no truth” to the report from earlier today.

Earlier today, a report emerged that Juventus director Calvo could be making the move to Inter.

Calvo is currently the Managing Director Revenue and Institutional Relations at Juventus.

However, a reportedly Inter President Beppe Marotta has contacted him recently.

This comes amid an impending shakeup behind the scenes at Inter.

Reports suggest that Nerazzurri Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello is on his way out. Antonello is set to join Roma after more than seven years at Inter.

And Inter owners Oaktree Capital have been looking to make changes to the running of the club.

A move to Inter would certainly be an eyebrow-raiser from Calvo.

The Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are bitter Derby d’Italia rivals in Serie A. And as a matter of fact, the two teams face off this weekend.

However, it is not as though there have never been any big name defections from Inter to Juventus or vice-versa.

And in fact, veteran executive Marotta has enjoyed massive success with both clubs.

And it is reportedly Inter President Marotta who has sounded out Calvo as a possible successor to Antonello at the Nerazzurri.

Marotta and Calvo worked together successfully for several years at Juventus.

Therefore, there could be a certain logic to trying to recruit the Bianconeri director to Inter.

However, Calvo himself has completely denied the idea that he could be making the same switch that Marotta did when he came to Inter in 2018.

“It’s not even worth commenting on,” the Juventus director told FCIN of the rumours.

“There’s no truth to any of it,” he added.
