Defence

David Raya made some valuable saves to deny the Red Devils. A similar sort of performance will be expected from him against Spurs. Jurrien Timber should continues as the right-back in the lineup.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are once again forming the heart of the defence. However, Myles Lewis-Skelly’s position as the left-back could be grabbed by Kieran Tierney this time.

Midfield

Mikel Merino and Jorginho are likely to make way for Declan Rice and Thomas Partey in the middle of the park. However, Martin Odegaard will be present in the midfield trio as usual.

Attack

Raheem Sterling showed some energetic runs in the previous game and he could be given a start on the right wing with Gabriel Martinelli making way for Leandro Trossard on the opposite flank.

Kai Havertz had one of his worst night in his footballing career so far but a lack of options available for Mikel Arteta will force him to use the German once again.

Gabriel Jesus Ethan Nwaneri (muscle), Bukayo Saka (hamstring), Ben White (knee), Gabriel Jesus (knee), and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) are confirmed absentees while Riccardo Calafiori will be assessed before the game.
