Barcelona locked horns with Real Madrid at the Estadio de La Cartuja earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result in the final of the Copa del Rey. The Catalan club made a great start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 28th minute when Pedri got his name on the scoresheet. Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Kylian Mbappe equalised for Los Blancos in the 70th minute before Aurelien Tchouameni completed the turnaround just seven minutes later. Barca grabbed a late equaliser thanks to Ferran Torres as the contest went to extra time.

Jules Kounde ended up scoring the only goal of extra-time in the 116th minute as Barcelona secured a hard-fought 3-2 win in the Copa del Rey final.

Martin performed his defensive duties well but didn’t do much going forward.

CM: Pedri – 7.5/10

He opened the goal-scoring with a good strike in the first half but was quiet after the half-time break.
