Chelsea really need to be playing in the Champions League next season and it will have its just rewards financially if they can seal it. Beating Brentford today will go a long way in helping them get Champions League football back at The Bridge for next season.

But The Bees will not be an easy opposition to face, and Enzo Maresca will once again have some big calls to make in his starting Xl.

Welsey Fofana is out of course after it was confirmed that he will miss the rest of this season after undergoing successful hamstring surgery this weekend.

There is a sense though that Nicolas Jackson might also miss out from the start today due to playing on Thursday after a long period out with injury.

Right now, Chelsea aren’t engaging with suitors because Petrovic, who has been excellent for Strasbourg, is in a four-way battle to become number one at Stamford Bridge, along with Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen and the incoming Mike Penders, per the report.

I can’t see Petrovic going there IF he ends up being sold by Chelsea.
